Anyone out there headed to the ISA show this week? Our guys Peter MacDonagh and Al Key will be there (in booth #407), sweating it out with the other poor sods in the Windy City.
If you’re interested in learning more about harvesting stormwater on-site, growing big street trees, and creating healthier communities using green utilities like the Silva Cell to meet your design and regulatory goals — well then, stop by. And if you just want to shoot the breeze or chat about… arboriculture and whatnot… stop by anyway!
In addition to our presence at the tradeshow, Peter, the Director of Science + Design for Deep Root Urban Solutions, will be conducting a site visit of a Silva Cell installation at 900 North Michigan Avenue in the heart of downtown Chicago, which I wrote about last month. Lucky for us, this installation is still underway and participants will be able to see the Cells going in.
This site visit will review the Silva Cell installation process and discuss how the Silva Cell grows big, healthy street trees while harvesting stormwater on-site, thereby reducing flooding and non-point pollution. Plan to meet in the Deep Root Booth (#407) on Tuesday, July 27th at 5:15pm. From there Peter & crew hop on the L for the quick trip to the 900 N Michigan project site.
