Pictured above is the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District Enhancement (Phase 1), a streetscape project (Virginia x Florida) in Miami, FL. This project was designed by Curtis & Rogers Design Studio and installed by Southern Blossoms. This one was involved in a protracted and emotional kerfuffle between the City of Miami and a small group of local and vocal residents.
Below is College Avenue Promenade, an installation that encompasses break-out zone, promenade, and streetscape applications all in one, took place along College Avenue in Blacksburg, VA. This project was designed by Land Planning & Design Associates (LPDA, Inc) and installed by RSG Landscaping & Lawn Care, Inc.
The photo below shows trees being planted in a Silva Cell installation called Penrose Square in Arlington, VA, a plaza project designed by OCULUS and installed by Commercial Scapes.
This transit project, Sunnyside LRT, was installed at a station in Calgary, AB, and integrated tree growth and stormwater management. It was designed by GEC Architecture and installed by PCL Constructors Canada Inc.
Buckland House, a car park/parking lot and streetscape project in Lymington, UK, was installed in early October. This project was designed by Sherlock Boswell Architecture and installed by Colten Developments Limited:
