The most recent version of Google Earth has added a nifty new 3D Trees feature!
In the first government-sponsored urban tree planting effort since the 1970s, Britain has committed £4.2m to plant one million trees by 2015. Declining rates of tree planting are the motivation for this new effort, which is being co-sponsored by Defra, Forestry Commission, Woodland Trust, Trees for Cities, Tree Council, and more.

We’ve made a little update to the DeepRoot website that we hope will help people searching out site for information about the Silva Cell.
We had our first commercial installation of Silva Cells along a streetscape in Kelowna, BC nearly 4 years ago (happy almost-anniversary to us). This summer, we were back there for another installation first — a median along a four-lane road.
