Welcome to the club, Durham! The minimum-soil-volumes-for-street-trees club, that is.

Durham’s recently released landscape manual now includes the following soil volume requirements for street trees:

Large trees = 700 cubic feet
Medium trees = 500 cubic feet
Small trees = 300 cubic feet

The manual was last updated in 2006.
