Assess your tree and stormwater design goals

Determine your soil volume target for your project’s trees. Use this resource as a guideline.
If applicable, determine your project’s stormwater treatment objectives.

Create project drawings

Refer to our Silva Cell System Layout Instructions for a step by step tutorial in creating your project site plans.
To complete your drawing package, incorporate Silva Cell sections that reflect your design.
A variety of details are provided in AutoCAD format.

Write the specifications

We provide specifications for both the Silva Cell (United States, Canada, United Kingdom) and our recommended soil mixes (United States, Canada, United Kingdom).
