Water Barrier – McCarthy Center, Milpitas, CA

A common problem for engineers and architects is the issue of water movement from an irrigated planting zone to the substructure of a hardscape area. Unchecked water flows can erode the sub-base, leading to potholes and surface degradation. At the McCarthy Center, a large corporate office park in Silicon Valley, the solution was lining the curbing with 36″ depth Water Barrier to prevent underground water migration from damaging the hardscape.
