Sales & Project Manager
DeepRoot is seeking an enthusiastic, and self-motivated Sales & Project Manager to join our UK team. The position will both generate sales and support our ongoing technical sales efforts, implementing SuDS – landscape and green infrastructure products. Critical to success in the role is having a strong belief in and value for an improved environment and to maintaining and increasing our close relationships with Landscape Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Local Authorities.
Working at DeepRoot Urban Solutions is a great opportunity to help improve the environment we all share every day. We work with Landscape Architects, Civil Engineers, Contractors, and Councils to help them design, specify, and install green infrastructure solutions/SuDS, that help to grow large trees and manage stormwater in the urban environment. Our family-owned business is full of dedicated, creative, and problem-solving individuals that have a team first mentality. We are experts in our field and work hard in helping our customers find the best possible solution for a sustainable solution to their design. We have a great team, with help and support from DeepRoot’s parent organization in the US and Canada.
This individual will enjoy being in contact via phone or in person, every day, with a range of customers and helping them to solve design and technical questions. The entire day will be spent communicating, selling, and supporting the sales and construction process with a diverse set of clients. At one moment you may be in a Landscape Architecture office demonstrating the benefits and features of our products and later that afternoon you may be on site with a contractor explaining how best to install our solutions.
A successful candidate will be very adept at working with a variety of different customers in different settings while providing each with a high level of customer service and respect. Every opportunity to meet with a customer is an opportunity to introduce DeepRoot, our values, our products, and solutions. You will be expected to be on the road across the UK 50% of the time. The other 50% will be spent working remotely to support those same customers with answers to emails, data entry in Salesforce, creating quotes and cold calling customers to offer our product solutions.
