Back in January we did an installation along a footpath in front of Harrogate International Centre. Harrogate Council wanted to make sure they had some fine looking trees out front and decided to use the Silva Cell to supply the necessary soil to grow them. They had enough Cells installed to give each tree access to 9m3 of soil, not including the benefits of soil sharing. (There is not yet any firm science on how much additional soil a tree gets from soil sharing — estimates vary from an extra 10% and up to 50%). This is a picture of the site taken just last week. So pretty!
